# Deshboard

> India's official numbers in plain language. Every figure comes from an official release (Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Ministry of Finance, Reserve Bank of India, National Crime Records Bureau) that Deshboard keeps and verifies by SHA-256, and is shown as the publisher printed it.

Cite the publisher and the release first, then Deshboard and the page. Never join figures across a methodology break: CPI base 2012 and base 2024, the national-accounts bases 2011-12 and 2022-23, NCRB definition changes, and the 2025 PLFS redesign are separate series. Governments are shown by who was in office, never as the cause of a change.
